Any girl but me.Fine. A bet then. If you can get me to fall head over hills for you- you win the title 'sexy'. If not, I get to label you 'loser' and you live on knowing your not the sexiest man alive.
Jace couldn't help but cock his eyebrow as he switched his gaze over to Jane, he blinked once and a smirk formed on his lips as he shook his head, fine you got a deal, he agreed, We'll see. He smiled and walked through the kitchen. After Jane did that with his finger he couldn't help but smirk at that, seeing how their bet was coming along nicely.
For such a small cut, you surely appeared pained
His eyes met hers and he shrugged, It really didn't hurt, i've had worse. He said. It's true Jace has had worse before, being a runaway, he has been shot in the leg and shoulder, he has been in car wrecks and has been almost eaten by a wolf. Sure he's had his fair share in danger and pain. A simple cut to him was really nothing. Jane seems to be embarrassed about the whole thing, but it surprised him more than anything, she keeps pushing him away and then she does that, he is confused.
Your not crippled.
He chuckled and unwrapped the band-aid and wrapped it around his finger. He looked down at Jane's hand and noticed scarlet drops falling on his bathroom floor, He blinked and grabbed her hand and examined her hand, his forehead creased and he shook his head, Jane what in the hell did you do to your hand? he scolded and grabbed a cloth and wrapped her finger up in, he pulled out the Neosporn and the band-aids and wrapped her finger up. He looked over at her and leaned against the counter, you know, your a very confusing person.

this is the rescue, the rescueTHE REASON I'VE BEEN HOLDING MY BREATH EVERY NIGHT- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Why was she so surprised to hear he accepted her bet? 'Cause the idea for betting over being labeled was stupid to her and she never thought he would actually consider it. But knowing Jace for the short time she has, he doesn't want to ruin his already large ego. "Fine." When he no longer had her in his sight, she grit her teeth and sighed. How could she lunge herself forward like that, and now that they made a bet dealing with her emotions- he probably thinks he has her wrapped around his finger. It really didn't hurt, i've had worse A sudden shiver crawled though out her small frame. She felt scared, like her body remembered something before her mind. However the mind tends to catch up: The subway train was brought to a halt at the station, and the doors slid open to allow it’s passengers to board. She wondered inside and grabbed a hook on the ceiling instead of a seat. Her gaze touched her skirt while her hand brushed off a bit of dirt from her skirt. Her eyes returned to the door, catching the site of policeman rampaging through the crowd to reach the subway train. But what for? The doors closed shut before the cops could make it inside the doors. They banged on the glass and yelled on top of their lungs, but what for? You can hear her sigh when a cell phone comes into view. One unread message. View now. She skipped the name and read the message: good. You’re being very obedient. This is your last stop before I will release that which you hold so close to your heart. Yes, I do keep my promises. Don’t worry, I didn’t hurt him, he’s able to walk for now. Forget our deal and he’s dead. Throw the package outside the door at the next stop, but you stay put inside. She could feel whoever sent this angered her. She closed the phone tore her book bag from her back and held it in front of her. The next stop was only a mile away according to the pilot. What’s in the bag? The girl’s grip on the hanging hook tightens as the train slowed down. The doors opened, yet the package wasn’t being thrown. She was hesitant for a brief second before tossing the package outside the doors. You better keep you promise, she heard herself think. The doors closed and she sighed, feeling her legs grow numb like she threw her life away. After some time the train suddenly jerked, sending all the passengers forward onto the floor. Then a harder jerk formed, glass shattered and the train exploded, filling the train with skin burning flames. The last you see or hear… are screams. She blinked back to reality, yet burning pain still relished along her body. Like she herself had flames on her back burning her alive. Was that a flashback? No, of course it could just be her imagination. Besides… if that was really her, she would be dead. Jane what in the hell did you do to your hand? It wasn't the name; it was the grasp upon her hand that shocked her. She stared at Jace's complexion for a brief second before accompanying his glare at her own hand. A small crimson ribbon slowly crawled down her finger. ”I don’t know,” she told him quickly. She couldn’t possibly tell him she lost control of her own actions and purposely cut herself. She could automatically come out as an Emo person. Maybe she was. She didn’t understand half the things her body or mind was thinking. ”it’s nothing.” She ripped her hand from his grip after he managed to bandage it up. You know, you’re a very confusing person. She avoided his eyes and turned her back to him. ”Good. I like being confusing." To be honest, it might feel like ‘confusion’ to Jace, but it’s fear to her. Fear to discover who she really is. She left him in the bathroom, heading back into the kitchen but stopped short when she felt her whole body grow numb, and her heart drop into her stomach. Something was wrong. She stood at the frame of Jace’s bedroom door and stared into the kitchen trying to pinpoint what was wrong, different. Then it caught her attention the knife was missing from the counter where Jace cut his finger. She narrowed her eyes and instantly thought of Jimmy. Careful. Something is wrong, but to automatically assume it’s Jimmy could be a mistake.
