When Annette was only six years old, her mother died in a car accident. A very bad one, that is. Her mother tried to make it accross the railroad tracks before the train came, but right in the middle of the tracks, the train sent Annette's mother flying. She died instantly.
Annette lives with her father, an animal lover who went to antarctica to study the arctic animals. He discovered a sick baby arctic fox, who he took care of and made well. He brought the fox home to Annette. He became their pet, named Snow, of course. Snow got used to the heat and loved the winter feeling when winter came. He was Annette's best friend. Snow turned out like a dog, but he's a fox. He sleeps on the foot of Annette's bed at night and lives indoors. Annette loves him to death.
Annette's dream is to become a very succesful author. Everyday she has to write or her day isn't complete. Her father is very lucky to have Annette everyday, for he is very forgetful of things. Once he forgot his keys and they were in his back pocket. It's not even close to amnesia, luckily. Annette sees the good and bad in the world.
