- - - - - - - - - - - - - I'VE SEEN ENOUGH NOW TO KNOW THAT BEAUTIFUL THINGS DON'T ALWAYS STAY THAT WAY - - - - - - - - - - - - - The sun was just starting to rise up into the morning sky as Leah tied her on her sneakers and adjusted her tank top. Today was one of her few days she had off of work and school, running always helped with the stress and the drama the world held. Leah had no friends, she was never one of those girls who would go up to a random person and introduce herself, she was more independent than out-going. She looked around her apartment and smiled, she had enough money to get her a nice apartment here in Toronto, it was big enough for two people and Leah was only one, so there was plenty of space for her and her dog, Sam who came bounding up to her, he was a pretty chocolate lab who was a baby at heart, He wouldn't hurt anyone, well, except any of the guys Leah would bring home, He was very protective of her. Aw hey there Sam, sorry you can't go. she patted his head as his tongue lolled out and he looked up at her with golden eyes. But i promise to take you to the park later to play some ball. she promised with a wave as she closed the door behind her and stuffed her keys in her pocket.
As the elevator went down to the lobby she sighed and she fiddled with a string on her sleeve she pulled it off as the elevator came to a stop and opened it's doors. She smiled and walked out, her ponytail bounced up and down as she waved to the clerk at the front desk who returned a smile and turned his attention to his customer. She went through the double doors and the chilly morning air seized her body as it swept his cold fingers down her neck. She was wear one of those jogging jackets with the matching sweats that flared at the end, her tennis shoes were all scuffed up and her brown hair was pulled back into a sloppy ponytail. her dark eyes focused on the side walk as she calmly made her way to the park which wasn't to far from her apartment.
She arrived at the park in no time and she pulled her Ipod out and put it on shuffle as she started out in a jog and then into a semi jog and a semi run. The air was humid and thick, making it hard to breath and making Leah's lungs burn, but she pushed herself forward as she moved through the park, passing couples and dogs with their owners. The older, gray-haired women sat on a bench exchanging ideas about their next scrap booking convention. She smiled and they waved at her and she waved back. She finally decided to stop as she walked towards a bench and sat down, trying to catch her breath, she looked around and felt that her cheeks were flushed. She leaned back and sighed.

I WALKED ACROSS A CROWDED STREET, A SEA OF EYES THEY CUT THROUGH ME

, something the pilot missed in the weeks staying at a secret location. Coming up to the wood barn, the Pilot lowers the plane, pulling the lever that releases the wheels and waited to touch ground. The wheels make contact after a long silent of humming and the Pilot drove the plane perfectly into the barn. The Pilot is an expert in the 'Plane' field and once know as pilot, but he's no real army pilot, just an adult by the name of Dan. The Sun successful swallowed the black blanket of stars. Even it's sister, Moon. Traffic in Toronto, Canada would never cease to calm down, or result in an accident. So Dan didn't mind walking into the City to fetch some tools to help fix his Plane. The Plane's wings are staring to give, so he needs to find some parts to help fix it. What better place than the City. The town would probably be the smarter choice, since the city consist mainly of clothing shops. Yet here he is heading to the City. Before taking a step further into the City, he went to a gas station and grab a big water, something he needed after flying a plane through winter winds. Cutting through the Central Park was Dan's best bet to reach the shops he actually needs and skip the clothing stores. He slid his free hand into his pocket and wondered further into the park. The tree's were shading most of it's visitors with the leaves that slowly grew rusty and died. Dan halted and took in the scene. Fall was something he despised. It reminded him too much of the Unwinds. Their body growing rust, the truck ordering it's branches to detach the rusty leave and let them slowly sway with the wind and hit the ground softly. While the leave decide their safe- feet stop upon them, killing and shattering them to pieces. And in their place... when spring comes back... a new leave is grown. Dan sighed, picking up his walk again. The sound of heavy breathing caught Dan's attention. A woman plopped down on the bench, it was obvious she finished her jog early. Dan realized she was flushed and probably thirsty. He gazed down at hid bottle of water which he noticed he hasn't even opened yet. she needs it more than i do. Dan approached the woman with a smile and stretched his arm out to offer the drink. "Thirsty? " Dan still held the Water bottle up while taking a seat beside her. - - - - - - - - - - - - - I'VE SEEN ENOUGH NOW TO KNOW THAT BEAUTIFUL THINGS DON'T ALWAYS STAY THAT WAY - - - - - - - - - - - - - Leah's eyes drifted from the ground to a man walking down the path, he seemed well content and had a bottle of water, she instantly realized that she did not bring hers, so that was the thing she forgot? She sighed and put her face in her hands as she tried to catch her breath, this park had many water fountains around, she could get a sip from that. Suddenly she noticed someone approach her and a bottle was visible in front of her, she blinked and her brown eyes lifted up to the man sanding before her, he was tall and he was cute. she was blushing but of course you couldn't notice since her face was also flushed along with the that. She realized the bottle had not been opened and she shook her head, Uh, no thanks, she said, Thanks for offering it though. she smiled weakly and cleared her throat as he plopped down on the bench beside her, she looked at him from the corner of her eyes and bit her lower lip, she had no idea what to say now.
She looked around and then turned her head to the guy and opened her mouth to say something, Nice morning huh? she blurted and mentally slapped herself for starting out a conversation with that. As you can tell, she doesn't have much experience in this department, her younger sister Isabelle had the flirtatious charm, or she could strike up a conversation with anyone at anytime, but with Leah, it came harder than most, She never knew what to say, or how to approach someone, especially guys. I like just sitting here after my morning runs and listen to the nature as i read a book or something. she said and instantly realized how dorky that was, reading books and sitting around listening to nature.
She gave a small smile and looked down at her hands, here stomach growl and she realized she forgot to eat some breakfast, she wrapped her arms around her stomach to stop it, it was kinda of embarrassing to have your stomach growling like a mad dog around a guy. She would eat afterwards though. Uh....i'm not very good with people. she admitted and kept looking down at her feet as she shuffled them along the ground, she looked up and over to him, She realized he looked around her age maybe, his hair was spiked up and seemed as muscular as ever, she caught herself staring at him and quickly turned her face around to watch a couple walking their dog along the path.
