All you've ever wanted Was someone to truly look up to you And six feet under water, I do Carter looked at all the bowlers bowling the balls towards the pins, hoping for a strike. She sighed. She was never any good at bowling. She always had a gutter, never a strike or spare, or even more than five pins knocked down. She only came here to get away from her evil step mom. Not to bowl and make a fool out of herself. She wished Andy were here, then she wouldn't be so lonely. Carter took a sip of her drink. Her phone rang and she slammed the drink on the table and picked it up, "Hey dad," She said with a smile. Carter hung up the cell phone and dropped it in her bag. Her dad was having a year and 1 month anniversary celebration with the wicked witch tonight. Which meant she was all alone tonight, until 11:00 tonight. Everytime they go to a restaraunt they stay until closing time. Carter rolled her eyes. Annie would probably bring up about having Carter unwound. Annie had a black heart, which had just a little love for Carter's father. Sometimes Carter just wanted to have her unwound, but she knew Annie was to old. Carter sighed, being alone at a full bowling alley wasn't very fun. ( PEOPLE MOVING ALL THE TIME ) i n s i d e a p e r f e c t l y s t r a i g h t l i n e . You could simply call them, unwinds. A jet black Jeep Wrangler pulled into the Bowling Alley parking lot carrying two passengers. " I choose Bowling," a male voice filled the silence the two were sharing. Sitting with him, she wore skinny jeans, bright red hills, and a flattering red blouse. She carefully thought the idea of bowling over. "You know what, Dan," she smirked and glanced over his direction, "I believe you choice bowling as our date to beat me? Well Mr, I wont be the one crying." She stuck out her tongue playfully and Dan chuckled. He answered with a serious yet playful tone, " your on." The two stepped out of the Jeep Wrangler and entered the Bowling Alley. " Say Susan, would you care for something to drink," he asked politely and pointed towards the vending machine. Susan spun around and shook her head with a smile. " Be right right back, then." His eyes unintentionally scanned the Alleyways where Bowlers scored one after another. However he couldn't help but witness a girl bowling gutter after gutter. Dan chuckled to himself and watched her, slipping his hands into his pockets. Her form was all wrong, but she didn't really appear to be trying to even make a strike. Perhaps something else was on her mind. Dan glanced over to Susan who waited in line for Cosmo- Bowling. The line was obviously long, " She wouldn't mind." Dan approached the gutter girl's Alley, sitting on a nearby seat. " Are you even trying to hit a pin, or are you simply here to waist time?" Dan smiled at her and stole a quick glance at Susan who didn't care to notice he wasn't back yet. His attention fell back to the girl while he stood and approached her. " I hope you don't really play like that. Try this," he grabbed a ball from the rack and took a step on the bowling alley he brought the ball to his face and determined where he would aim the ball. Then he wound up took a couple steps forward and curved the bowling ball to make a strike. Dan smiled and looked over his shoulder at the girl, " That's how it's done." All you've ever wanted Was someone to truly look up to you And six feet under water, I do Carter let the ball go, sending it skidding against the floor. Her eyes lingered on the ball as it fell into the gutter. She sighed. She wasn't getting anybetter. "Are you even trying to hit a pin or are you simply here to waste time?" Carter jumped in surprise. She turned to the guy approaching her and brushed a loose strand of hair behind her hair, "Both," she muttered. "I hope you don't really play like that. Try this,"Carter watched as he lifted a ball and aimed it. He took a couple steps and sent the ball rolling towards the pins. A perfect strike. "That's how it's done," He looked over his shoulder at her. She grabbed a ball and tried to copy his moves. Just like that, she got a strike. Carter looked at the guy, "Thanks," She smiled. So, how come you came boiling to 'waist time', seeing how your not too great with a bowling ball." A chilly breeze swept through the building, probably the result of the manager turning on the furnace. He adjusted the way he stood before glancing over to Susan who suddenly noticed he didn't come back. She scanned the area and located them. Dan gave a playful wave and she returned the favor by rolling her eyes. " So, what's your name? Mine's Dan." Dan plopped down on the seat just behind the Bowling Alley she was occupying. He watched while she replayed his earlier scene. She held her concentration, reared the ball and took two fluid steps to get the strike she desperately needed. Dan smiled and glanced toward the score bored. Already she reached 10 from all her gutter balls. Dan chuckled and stood up. Thanks " No problem." Dan glanced over to Susan's direction, but instead of Susan at the pay counter- she was staring at Dan's face two feet in front of him. He stumbled back a foot and chuckled, " Oh, hey Susan." She raised an eye to Carter than smirked whiled crossing her arms. "Are you done playing Dan. We need to-," she paused and looked toward the number of the girls Bowling Alley and smirked even more, "She's in our bowling alley." Dan smiled and turned to Carter. " Would you like to join us?" Susan displayed a face that read 'no way!'[/ul] template by wreckoftheday ! of caution.

So, how come you came boiling to 'waist time', seeing how your not too great with a bowling ball."Carter looked at him. "It's...complicated," She told him. She noticed him waving at someone. She followed his direction of his wave and found a girl, older than Carter, in red heels, red blouse, and skinny jeans. She rolled her eyes at him. "So, what's your name? Mine's Dan." Carter jerked her head towards him. Should she give him her name? For all she knew, he could be a freak. She tried to shake the thought off. "Carter...my name is Carter." "No problem." There stood the girl, staring at Dan. "Oh, hey Susan." Carter noticed Susan raise an eyebrow at her. Just when Carter was about to make an excuse to leave, because of Susan, Carter heard something that stopped her. "Are you done playing Dan. We need to-," she paused and looked toward the number of the girls Bowling Alley and smirked even more, "She's in our bowling alley." Dan turned towards Carter, "Would you like to join us?" Carter shifted weight on her feet. "Um, I guess, I mean If that's ok with Susan." Carter turned towards Susan who seemed to disagree with the idea of Carter being included. "I understand if you don't want to include me," She said to Susan. She sighed. ( PEOPLE MOVING ALL THE TIME ) i n s i d e a p e r f e c t l y s t r a i g h t l i n e As soon as the words broke the brief silence Dan knew he could never leave this girls side until he had the chance to help her. That's just the kind of guy he is. Dan smiled, " Complicated, I've heard that word a lot. Mind telling me what's on your mind?" If she refused to tell him he would hesitate to stop pushing the subject, for now. But later he's determined to discover and solve her need of help. She appeared sad in the eyes, her lids trying to narrow to release the pain she probably held inside. " Even if what I'm about to say is far fetch, you can trust me." Carter...my name is Carter. Dan smiled and offered his hand, " Nice to meet you Carter. That's a strange name for a charming young lady. Carter" He repeated her name with feeling and liked it, it was unusual and he enjoyed encountering people with odd names, they always tend to be interesting people. Susan wasn't the nicest person to encounter right about now, she's the jealous type. Susan narrowed her eyes toward Carter and Dan sighed. Um, I guess, I mean If that's ok with Susan " Of course Susan's fine with it," Dan said quickly. Susan gasped and grit her teeth, "I disagree! I don't want her company!" Dan chuckled, Where are my manners, Susan this is Carter. Cater, Susan." "I don't want an introductions either," she mutter bitterly. Dan kept his smile displayed on his lips and placed a hand along Susan's shoulder, " Come on Susan," he paused and his lips curled into a smirk, " Are you scared to get beat by Cater?" Susan appeared shocked he even considered the possibility. "No! Fine, she can play," she glared at Carter," You're going down princess." Susan turned to find the perfect bowling ball. Dan walked over to Carter and bent to her eye level. He placed one hand on either of her small shoulders, " Don't let Susan intimidate you, Carter. I'll be here to help you." He offered a smile and stood up straight. He made his way to the machine you place your name into and started typing. [/ul] template by wreckoftheday ! of caution.

"Um, there's a woman who really gets on my nerves and i hate her," she told him. Just thinking about Annie made Carter shudder. She just liked when her father and her only lived in the Monroe house. Annie came along and changed things Carter wanted to be the same. "Even if what I'm about to say is far fetch, you can trust me." Carter can't trust someone right away. It takes time. "Nice to meet you Carter. That's a strange name for a charming young lady. Carter"Carter took his hand, "Thanks, and nice to meet you too." Yes, it was a strange name. People used to pick on her because they thought it was only a guys name. Carter's eyes lingered on the ground. Dan said she could trust him. But was he what he really said? "Of course Susan's fine with it," Carter turned towards Susan who was gritting her teeth. "I disagree! I don't want her company!" Carter rocked back and forth on her heels. Dan chuckled, "Where are my manners, Susan this is Carter. Cater, Susan." "I don't want an introductions either," Susan said bitterly. "Hi Susan," Carter said, holding out her hand. "Come on Susan," Dan smirked, "Are you scared to get beat by Cater?" Carter couldn't help but letting out a chuckle. Susan appeared shocked he even considered the possibility. "No! Fine, she can play," she glared at Carter," You're going down princess." Carter tilted her head. Dan bent down, both hands on Carter's shoulders, "Don't let Susan intimidate you, Carter. I'll be here to help you." She nodded. Carter followed Dan to the name machine. As Dan was typing his name, Carter saw Susan glaring at her from time to time. That made Carter unconfortable. She closed her eyes. Carter reopened them and took her jacket off, revealing a navy tank top. She dropped her jacket on a chair. ( PEOPLE MOVING ALL THE TIME ) i n s i d e a p e r f e c t l y s t r a i g h t l i n e His lips slit and his mouth opened a bit to speak slow and hint concern in his words, "Mother issue, huh?" It was written all over the poor girls face. He could understand the hatred toward a Mother. His never came home. Dan lifted his spirit and offered the girl a warm small. Carter returned the offer and slid her hand into his- completing the warm greeting he approached her with. He squeezed it a bit softer that he would meeting another lad and shook it up and down. Thanks, and nice to meet you too, she spoke in a sweat tone that made the corner of Dan's lips tug into a grin. "No, no the pleasures all mine. He released the hold upon her hand and slid in down his side. Susan Lynn Winters, a rather rebel to any source of concern, niceness, cherrity, and well you name it she probably has something rude to comment about it. She glared down upon Carters frigile frame and hooked her hip and placed a free hand onto the other. "Don't 'Hi Susa-," she was cut off when Carter offered her a hand shack. Susan smiled whicked and muttered bitterly, "Oh~ Ho~ you've got to be kidding me," Susan smacked her hand away, "No thanks." "Susan!" Dan barked and gave Susan a glare that made her take a small step back. "Fine. She can play- happy?" She huffed and turned her back to them, searching for the perfect size boiling ball. "Hope I spell your name right," he muttered and pressed in the keys C- A- R- T- E- R. Dan was determined to put himself in the middle of the brunch so he could be the example for Carter and watch his opponite Susan. He pressed his name in, D- A- N. Susan came back and stole a peek at the list of names and noticed her name the first up. "Perfect," she smirked and glared at Carter for a brief second before taking her spot on the Boiling Alley. "Now, just watch and observe how Susan and I boil and try to sum up a few ideas of how you'd like to approach boiling," he informed her, watching Susan hold the ball parallel to her face. Without a warning Susan reared back the ball and released the hold she had with her three fingers, letting the ball fly across the Alley and toward Carter. Dan reacted quickly and grabbed Carters arm, pulling her into his lap. The boiling ball missed her by a mile and Dan laughed- but his body grew tense. "Boiling like that, you'll never win against us." The smirk Susan wore faded into a disgusted sneer. "Whatever," she growled and gave Carter a glare. Susan grabbed another ball and reared it back, this time holding it tight and rearing it forward before releasing it to the Boiling Alley. They watch as the ball smashed into the right side of the pins and knocked all but one. Susan didn't like to lose, and winning at this game met she had to get strikes all the time. Susan cursed under her breath. "Alright, my turn," Dan waited for Carter to give him room to slid by before he took his lead to the Boiling Alley where his ball already waited. He slid his three fingers into their pacific hole and lifted it up to his face. Watch and learn, he spoke inside his head like he was talking to Carter through telepathy. He reared the ball back and released it a couple seconds before Susan did with her ball. His ball was almost in the gutter when it curved into the center pin and hit a strike. Dan jumped up and grinned. [/ul] template by wreckoftheday ! of caution.
