The whispers that it won't last roll up and down the pews But if their hearts were dying that fastThey'd have done the same as you Massie walked along the grass, humming a song that she had absolutely no clue where she'd heard it from. The morning had been chaos with her parents fighting over who does the most in the family. It was a bit uncalled for, since her parents hardly ever fought. She had been just sitting there when her mother stomped into the kitchen, looking like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Her father had been already starting to eat. “Why do I all ways have to make up the bed and clean up the mess in the bathroom?” Massie’s mother asked her father in a very annoyed tone. Then the fight started. Massie had looked back and forth at the fighting adults, and soon her head started to hurt from the yelling. So she took a walk in the park. Massie spotted a wooden bridge that looked very old. It led to a grass field surrounded by a bunch of maple trees. She stared at the first wooden board on the bridge as she slowly stepped on it. A few tiny pieces of the board fell into the stream below. Massie gulped. She started to walk across the bridge, feeling unsure whether to walk across or run back. She decided to go ahead and walk across. Her left foot hit the third board. As Massie had counted, there were fourteen boards on this bridge. She eyed the boards and the side of the bridge, which was medal. Her foot hit the seventh board and the board, and the other three boards around it, crumbled and fell into the stream. She held onto the side of the bridge for dear life. She was panic struck. She tried to yell help, but the sound couldn’t escape her mouth. Oh crap, I’m going to die, I’m am surely going to die, Massie told herself. She tried not to look down, but the urge was too powerful. Her head looked below her and she felt nauseous. The bridge had to be about thirteen yards above the stream. The water was rushing west. There were rocks below the water. Massie squeezed her eyes shut. She should have at least said goodbye to her parents before she left. She should have tried to make them stop fighting. Her last minutes with them were horrible. Maybe she could have just yelled stop, then the last moments wouldn’t have been that bad. Good lord, there weren’t any people around to see her hanging on for dear life. “H-H-He-” She just couldn’t get the word out! Her heart felt like it was beating 100 times per minute. Just her luck, she wasn’t strong enough, so her fingers were starting to slip. Her breathing became intense. Never in her 17 years of life had she thought she would die this way, this young. She might as well be an unwind right now, it would be less painful anyways. No! She couldn’t think like that, she had to hold on. Her sweaty palms were the problem. She was going to fall, and she knew it. She wasn’t going to just fall on her own, on purpose. She had to try her best, after all, that would be kind of like suicide if she just let go. “H-H-H,” She tried to say help again. Nothing. tagged Landon Reese Westwick outfit Click !

Are you out there Where the rainy days begin To feel rather sad And the walls are closing in Like the darkness around me It's so hard to look away When the daylight doesn't ever stay Above this dull apartment view Oh, I will surround you. he lied. He was forced to hear the story ever night. This night was no different. Ryan ran his fingers through his head, scratching the back of his ear in frustration. “She should come back though! I was treating her well! I was!” Landon groaned, “Yea. I know Ryan.” Ryan starting pacing, which should never be considered a good sign. Landon stood and placed a reassuring hand on Ryan’s shoulder, “She’ll come back. She is your daughter.” He offered a smile- the least he could do after everything Ryan’s done for him. “Even if I was the one that signed her away to be Unwound… you think she’ll return?” The truth is, his daughter Lauren was already Unwound. Ryan even knows this but doesn’t wish to accept it since he regrets ever signing his daughter away for some stupid fight about curfew. It’s some kind of depression disorder. Landon shaded his eye’s from the Sun with the palm of his hand. He felt his chest rise and fall slowly from taking a deep breath. Nature’s way of keeping him alive- by feeding him oxygen. Deep down something was telling him to get up and start walking home. But what was home? Landon rolled onto all fours before pushing off the dew grass with his hands to put him on his feet. Once on his feet he decided to stretch a bit before wondering for his truck. It wasn’t hard to fix his truck after the incident with Hannah. The only exit to the field he was on was a rather rusty appealing bridge over a strong and chilly stream. The currents flowed west and hurled everything in it’s path into a bundle of rocks located a few yards out. Upon arriving at the bridge Landon slipped his hands into his pocket and tuned out the rest of the world for his own satisfaction. All except the crunching of the wood beneath his feet. The bridge was an old and historical piece of this National Park, which is something those rangers find ‘precious’. Landon jerked his head up when it felt as if the bridge collapsed, but it was only someone falling through a rusty old wood board along the bridge. Landon reacted on instinct and charged for the being dangling off the bridge. He grasped their hand and pulled them up muttering, “I got ya, hold on..” Landon grit his teeth and pulled what he discovered, a girl, back onto the bridge. With his hand he grabbed a metal bar and her arm to support them both. “You ok?” Not like he really cared, it was just a question a human being ask when someone ISNT ok. This time was no different. The whispers that it won't last roll up and down the pews But if their hearts were dying that fastThey'd have done the same as you When she heard someone’s feet start to walk across the old bridge, relief spread over Massie’s dangling body. She grunted to keep hold of the medal bar. Then she realized she wasn’t using both hands to hold on. What an idiot I am, She shook her head in disappointment in herself. She was sweating, panicking, and struggling. It wasn’t a very good combination to be. She slowly lifted her left hand and placed it onto the bar. Of course, the person walking across the bridge hadn’t noticed her yet. They would have grabbed her hand by now. Her left hand slipped and fell to her side. She was too panic stricken to yell something. Finally, she felt her hand being grabbed, “I got ya, hold on.” Like I wasn't going to hold on in the first place, she thought to herself. She was pulled onto the bridge. “My god, thank you,” She breathed hard in exhaustion. Her arm was still being grasped as the human supported them. “You ok?” Massie was looking down at the bridge. The voice was deep, so it was a guy. It sounded awfully familiar. “Y-yeah, I’m fine,” She told him. Her right hand was sore from the bone pressing hard against the medal. She held it and squeezed it to try to make it stop hurting. No, it was making it worse. She looked at the guy and recognized his face. Lanny…Lan… “Landon!” She was surprised that she said that outloud. It was Landon who saved her when she passed out. Not that she was happy to see him. She frowned, “Hey, you’re the mean-” She stopped herself, “the guy who took me into the hotel lounge when I passed out.” She examined his face. Nothing really had changed about him. He was the same. The recognition took her by surprise. “It’s you again,” she muttered under her breath. She wrapped her jacket around her body, blocking the chilly breeze.

Are you out there Where the rainy days begin To feel rather sad And the walls are closing in Like the darkness around me It's so hard to look away When the daylight doesn't ever stay Above this dull apartment view Oh, I will surround you. Her voice was horsed, but relief was regaining itself throughout her body. He held her in a secure position with a hand grasping her side and the metal bar that held the bridge together. When Landon observed her face and took the time to study the girl who's life was at risk- a familiar nerve hit. Do I know her, he asked himself. What was it that reminded her of someone? He couldn't match the name just yet, so he shrugged it off in the mean time. Y-yeah, I’m fine "Ok." Landon! His eyes widened, she just shouted his name out of the blue. Literally. But as soon as she did he remembered just who she was. He relaxed his face and stared at her while she spoke, Hey, you’re the mean- the guy who took me into the hotel lounge when I passed out. Landon groaned, "It's you." he stood- releasing his reassuring grip he had on her. She started to fall back into the open air and fall into the stream, but obviously she grabbed the metal bar to keep herself up. Landon calmly headed for the other end of the bridge with Massie surely on his flank. Neither were on the other end when a loud crackling sound came from the wood below their feet, the same wood keeping them a few yards above a wild stream. Landon yelled back to her, "Run!" Landon bolted down the bridge and felt the bridge rumble and crackle behind him. When he reached the other end he hit the ground and breathed in some air he foolishly didn't breath in before. His chest rose and fell roughly. Damn that was close, Landon told himself. Landon used his stomach muscles to lift himself in a sitting position and observed the damage. that bridge was gone.. all but the metal bars. He glanced beside him to find Massie exhausted from running, sprawl out on the grass. Landon smirked and was about to make a remark when he heard foot steps behind him, then a voice. "You two! Yea you! What do you think your doing!? That was Historic property! Just look what you did. I bet Lincoln walked-" He continued with some history lesson Landon didn't care to listen to. Landon stood up and started walking away, leaving Massie with the National Park Ranger. [/ul]

The whispers that it won't last roll up and down the pews But if their hearts were dying that fastThey'd have done the same as you "It's you." "Yes, it's me," she said, hearing the annoyed tone in his voice. He let his grip on her go and she fell back, but her reflexes saved her. She grabbed onto the medal side, "Hey! What was that for!" It wasn't a question. She already knew the answer. Jerk, she thought. He saved her once again, but once he remembered her he almost killed her. This made her mad. She was about to say something, but a crackling sound came from the bridge. "Run!"He yelled to her. Before the sound of his voice reached her ears, he was already half way to the end of the bridge. She bolted towards the end, hearing the bridge crumbling behind her. Faster, faster, she repeated over and over in her mind. She glanced over her shoulder. The boards were crumbling right behind her. Her legs started weakning. Relief spread over her body as she stepped onto the green grass. She collapsed on the ground beside Landon and glanced at him. She noticed he was wearing a smirk on his face and probably about to make a remark. "Don't-" She was interupted. "You two! Yea you! What do you think your doing!? That was Historic property! Just look what you did. I bet Lincoln walked-"Massie sat up and looked at the Park Ranger. He looked about in his mid thirties. He went on in the middle of a history lesson. Massie didn't want to hear it. She already heard enough history and it was a subject she despised more than anything. She noticed Landon wasn't beside her anymore and she stood. She saw him walking away as the Ranger kept going on about the bridge. "Um-He-I-eh," She couldn't say what she wanted. She jogged to catch up with Landon while the Ranger followed, "Who are you kids anyway?" Massie stopped dead in her tracks and grabbed Landon's arm to stop him from going any farther. "Um, I'm Massie," She patted Landon's arm and said, "And this is my.." she gagged a little, "B-brother, Landon."She pushed Landon to the side. The Ranger stared at her, "Who are your parents?" Massie couldn't think of a name, but she finally came up with, "Elena and...." She looked at Landon for help. Are you out there Where the rainy days begin To feel rather sad And the walls are closing in Like the darkness around me It's so hard to look away When the daylight doesn't ever stay Above this dull apartment view Oh, I will surround you. "You should know the answer to that," he muttered. Upon standing the suns rays scared at his eyes, forcing him to squint. Landon tried to challenge the rays burning his pupils, but it was obviously a well lost attempt. His eye began to water, which made him turn his back to the sun and Massie. He wiped the tears from his eyes before stuffing his palms into his jean pockets and walking swiftly down the creaking bridge. Something was odd about the bridge and the way it felt beneath Landon's feet. Drastically wrong. Don't- Massie's voice was cut short, leaving Landon to wonder what she was about to say. A males voice broke into Massie's sentence, speaking of respect and National History crap Landon could care less about at this point. Landon sat up and glared at the bridge thinking, It was bound to fall. Without a second thought he rose from the grass dew and headed to his truck. Um-He-I-eh. Landon felt a grasp before a tight tug along his forearm. He looked over his shoulder to find Massie the culprit to forcing him to stop and face the Park Ranger. Um, I'm Massie. She faked a well executed smile and patted Landon's shoulder, freeing him from her grasp. Landon wanted to continue to his car but what Massie said next made him surprised. And this is my... B- Brother, Landon, she spoke almost vomiting at the word that instantly made them related. Landon could have denied what she said, but a smirk crossed his lips changing his mind. "Right. And this is my little sister." Landon planted his hand on top of her head and rubbed his palm along her scalp, messing up her hair. Elena and.... The Park Ranger was a nosy guy, wanting the names that belong to their parents so he could make their ears bleed with his History lesson. Massie stumbled on names and came up with Elena. Landon raise a brow, not liking the name. Then she turned to his aid for a Father name. Landon stared at the Ranger and let a small smirk shape his lips, "Bob, Bob Farmer." Landon was laughing on the inside while taking a peek at Massie. "Well Mr and Ms Farmer," Landon was a bit shocked he actually considered a dumb name like Bob Farmer real, "I'll be watching out for you two troubles and probably contact your parents." Landon wanted to laugh in his face, but he bit his tongue. "You two run along now, OUT of the park." Landon smiled, "But of course." He rolled his eyes and continued on his way to his truck waiting just beyond the trees he walks near. He could hear Massie's feet shuffling behind him. Landon sighed and made it to his truck. The whispers that it won't last roll up and down the pews But if their hearts were dying that fastThey'd have done the same as you "You should know the answer to that,"Massie rolled her eyes, "Will you just get over that?" The sun broke from the shield of the clouds, the light burning Massie's eyes. She held up her palm to block it and looked at Landon. He was turned, his back to the sun and Massie. The bridge seemed to be close to giving up, and she started to try to get to the other side before it collapsed. Landon's famous smirk crossed his face. "Right. And this is my little sister." Massie felt his plam against her scalp, messing up her hair. When he was done, she tried to fix it by brushing it with her fingers. She glared at him and mumbled, "And such a great brother to have." Another smirk on Landon's face, "Bob, Bob Farmer." Bob. Such an easy name to come up with. Massie sighs and nodded and looked at the ranger, "Bob." "Well Mr and Ms Farmer," Massie Farmer. It didn't sound right, "I'll be watching out for you two troubles and probably contact your parents." Massie nodded. "You two run along now, OUT of the park." Massie nodded once again. "But of course." Landon walked the same direction as before. He drove a truck. Massie looked at their surroundings. She knew Landon wasn't going to give her a ride. She tried to act miserable and slowly started walking away. "I guess I'm walking all the way home," she glanced back at Landon. She miserably sighed, hoping her plan would work. tagged Landon Reese Westwick outfit www.polyvore.com/finally_its_our_time_now/set?id=6365664lyrics Cath- Death Cab For Cutie banner my beautiful creation (: music got dynamite - demi lovato notes - - -
