The island of Mayaguana in the Bahamas is known for it's beautiful beaches and Darlington Preparatory School. This school is said to be the best Preparatory school throughout all the Islands of the Bahamas. Only those who live near, attend, or teach at the school know the truth.
Darlington Preparatory School is where the high-class and rich send their children when there is no more hope. They have tried phsyciatrists, rehab, mental institutions, regular boarding school, and boot camp, but nothing has seemed to work. Darlington is the last hope parents have when it comes to getting their children well.
What they don't know is that Darlington has its own reputation among the students and staff. It is the place where anything can and will happen.
The teachers know the truth about Darlington all too well because all of them also attended Darlington at some point in their lives. They try to help the kids with therapy sessions, but not everything can be cured by talking about it and taking your meds.
This is the place that the Seven Deadly Sins were born.
Lust. Greed. Gluttony. Envy. Sloth. Wrath. Pride.
Darlington feeds on the problems of its students and teachers, sucking the life out of them a little bit at a time. Of course, society has done the same, and the only time things were simple was when they were children.
Rainbows, butterflies and Matchbox cars have gone away now.
